   The Monster Under The Bed

No one believes me. They think I'm lying. But it’s

really true, a big hairy monster lives under my bed and

I can prove it.

The monster has the most frightening fingernails; they scrap

the floor at midnight and it sounds like nails on a chalkboard.

It has bright green glowing eyes. It howls to the moon.

But no one knows

because he only comes out at night. I went to bed early one

night and once my mum tucked me into bed and left.

I mumbled “hello m m monster” suddenly a

high pitched voice mumbled

back “what what” “Come out please” the girl replied “ok”

the monster came out from his spot “your tiny”

the girl whispered

“you put so much stuff under your bed

and it all sticks to me please stop”

said the monster “lets clean you

up” replied the girl “mum” the monster threw

himself under

the bed as the

girls mother came in to the room “is everything ok dear”

“yes yes mum” the

girl replied “in fact I have something

to show you” “What is it” mum said

“monster monster” but the

monster never came out.

“You just had a dream but I will run you a

bath let me know when to

tuck you ok?. “Ok reply the girl”

 After I had my bath I called my mum to tuck me in and I

had to hide the monster under the towel ok coming said

mum as I quickly rushed the

monster into the bedroom and my mum tucked

me in and said

goodnight and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

I woke up the next morning and asked “what's for

breakfast

me and monster want some food and mum replied with

darling it's

just your imagination but I will still make you extra

pancakes so

you can have them with your imaginary monster

“it's not imaginary mum it's real Turn around then you’ll see...
